The Great Hunt by Robert Jordan
It's part of a series called The Wheel Of Time and this is the 2nd "book (the the first "book" was two books..hmm) It's a nice kinda fantasy along the lines of LotR, and so far I like it, tho it goes a bit slow at times and there are way too many commas

A group read? That sounds like an interesting project for a board!
I'm stuck, and have been stuck, on finishing this true crime book for months. I want to finish the last couple chapters, I have two other books I want to start on, Perfect Storm and then another one I bought last October (how lazy I've become) about the firth North Pole expedition. ![]() ...you gave away the things you loved, and one of them was me. Yeah...you have to be in the mood to read...and sometimes you just get stuck in a book. Put it down and come back to it later. And start the next book!

The book I'm reading at the moment is The First Sex by Helen Fisher. I can't review it yet cause I'm only 10 pages in
I'll be there for you as long as it works for me. I play a game, it's called insincerity.

My mom had sent me a book about dealing with divorce last summer ... I put it up because I wasn't ready to read it yet, that's what I should really start to read next.

I have heard so much about Lovecraft but never read him. Two people I know of traveled to New England to see where he wrote his books. (I guess they were also set there??)

I'd like to travel to Maine to see that town in the Perfect Storm. I used to want to go to Boulder when I was reading The Stand and for a long time after that

Lovecraft sets his stories in many different places. Some are set in New England, Boston a lot, but many are set over in Europe where there are lots of scary old castles. "The Outsider" was even set in Egypt
I bet you would like Lovecraft, Saundra. You should try him. His stories are very mysterious... most people don't realize |

They are more creepy than scary. I was weirded out a lot by them at first, but then I really started to like them.

Hang on....my husband and I are currently reading:
"The Stone Monkey" by Jeffery Deaver "The Phantom of Manhattan" by Frederick Forsyth ""City of Bones" by Michael connelly "Suzanne's diary for Nicholas" by James Patterson "These Granite Islands" by Sarah Stonich "Blackbird Singing" a book of poetry by Paul McCartney We have at least 24 other books to get to...so many pages...so little time.... Actually, that Paul McCartney book, touted as a book of poetry, is actually a lot of the song lyrics he wrote from 1965-1999, with a few poems thrown in for good measure. It's dedicated to his late wife, Linda. Not bad, actually.
