I really don't remember for sure but the one Savanah mentioned was among the first, lol, or maybe I Think I Love You by David Cassidy. They were
probably a few years old by the time I bought them, I can't imagine I would have had any money to spend before I was a teen.

First album was "Born Late" by Shaun Cassidy. First cassette was "Aladdin Sane" by David Bowie First CD was Duran Duran (A.K.A. the wedding album) by Duran Duran I never bought any 8 track tapes, but did have several bougnt for me.

The first record I bought (45) was in 1961, on the Verve label #10245 Imagination/ Ala-mem-say. By the Quotations.
I still have it. Imagagination was the hit side, but I liked the flip side even better. I used to play it over and over, til I wrote down all the words to it. Murray the "K" used to play it alot on WINS-AM "The Swinging Soiree" his radio show...
